We take a security deposit only to insure return of your high quality instrument. It is returned immediately to you as soon as we receive the instrument back. It can be used to later purchase the instrument if you so choose. When you return your instrument and we receive it, we can either return the deposit to your credit card or send you a check payment. The majority of customers that we have had almost always choose the 9 month rental plan, as it matches most school schedules and has great savings compared to local music stores. 100 percent of your rental fees go toward the purchase of the instrument. You lose no money and don’t lose any percentage of your rental credit. Think of it as layaway, but you can take your instrument home. If you have insurance and your instrument is damaged or destroyed, upon return of the broken instrument, we provide you a new instrument in its place one time. Your deposit is returned to you in full when you return the replaced musical instrument. You are responsible for the full retail price of the rental instrument. If the instrument is stolen or lost during your rental contract, if you have insurance, the deposit is put toward the purchase of the lost instrument, and you are no longer responsible for the full retail price of the instrument which can be quite substantial. No, a rental package is a contract that you have with our company. The monthly price is based on the amount of months you rent for. Your security deposit is always returned when you return the instrument. You can keep it as long as you want at your low rate. After your contract is over, we automatically bill your card monthly until you return the instrument. We can also switch your instrument to purchase when you have paid it off in full. You can also choose to use your deposit as a form of payment. There is no risk when you rent from Inspire Music Center. As we are a local merchant in San Francisco, our customer number is 415-504-7921.
