Rental Policy and Agreement
Duration - The rental term shall be for the specified duration of time (whether 3, 9, or 12 month rental), starting from the date the rental order is placed online. All rental contracts are rent-to-own unless returned.
Extended Duration - If the instrument is not returned before the end of the original rental duration (plus an additional 7-day grace period for in-store pickup/delivery), the rental shall extend itself for one month, and applicable monthly rental and insurance fees will be billed. The duration will automatically extend monthly until the instrument has been returned to us, or until your cumulative rental payments have reached the retail purchase price.
*YOUR CREDIT CARD AND BILLING INFORMATION WILL BE STORED ON A SECURE SERVER (Authorize.net)**. BY PLACING A RENTAL ORDER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE MAY BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD THE MONTHLY RENTAL FEE, (including insurance, if originally ordered) SHOWN ON YOUR FINAL RECEIPT, FOR EACH MONTH AFTER THE ORIGINAL RENTAL DURATION IF THE INSTRUMENT IS NOT RETURNED TO US.
Deposit - The deposit shall be charged in full to your credit card, and will be held for the duration of the rental period. The deposit may be refunded in full by check upon return of the instrument to Inspire Music, provided that there is no damage to the instrument. If damage is found upon receipt of the instrument, some or all of the deposit may not be refunded to you, depending on the severity of the damage.
Monthly Rental Fees - Monthly rental fees, which are paid up front for the term of the original rental contract, will be credited towards the purchase of the instrument. These fees will offset the retail price of the instrument, allowing you the customer to pay only the difference in order to own the instrument. Rental fees incurred under an extended duration will also be credited towards a purchase.
Insurance - Insurance is optional. Purchase of insurance covers damage and/or loss of the original rented instrument according to the terms in either the basic or premium plan, whichever was selected upon rental.
Basic Insurance - Basic insurance covers basic repair (not including broken strings or replacement parts) of the original rental instrument. In case of loss or theft, basic insurance will cover the replacement of the instrument - your deposit will be deducted (non-refundable), but you will not be responsible for the full retail purchase price of the instrument.
Premium Insurance - Premium insurance covers all repairs for the rental instrument (including replacing broken strings and replacement parts) and loss or theft of the original instrument. Under coverage of premium insurance, loss or theft of the original rental instrument will not cause your security deposit to be deducted. A replacement instrument will be issued to you at no extra cost (shipping & handling will be additional).
No Insurance - If you choose not to purchase insurance for your instrument, you will be responsible for the full retail price of the instrument in case of any damage or loss. Your deposit may be forfeit depending upon the severity of the damage.
