Inspire Music was established in 2006 when Victor Cervantes, a vocal instructor, rented a small studio on Vicente Street in San Francisco's Outer Sunset district. The school grew rapidly, and in 2010, it moved to its current location on Taraval Street after outgrowing the Vicente site. Inspire Music provides private and group lessons to a diverse clientele of all ages and musical backgrounds, teaching a range of instruments, including strings, winds, drums, guitar, and piano. Despite the expansion, the school still emphasizes its vocal roots and offers popular ensemble classes such as the "Hip Kids" and "Voices" choirs. With more than 25 instructors on staff, they ensure that there is a teacher to match every student's musical needs.

Apart from private and group classes, Inspire Music offers instrument rentals at the lowest monthly rates in San Francisco. The school provides over 500 instruments each year for students of the San Francisco Unified School District. If you own an instrument that requires attention to make it sound its best, drop it off at Inspire Music, and their in-house repair technician will provide you with a free estimate. Inspire Music provides video lessons on proper instrument maintenance to help students learn how to care for their violin, trumpet, clarinet, or flute, ensuring that they get the most out of their playing.

Inspire Music has come a long way since its humble beginnings on Vicente Street, and it continues to provide quality music education to its diverse clientele. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced musician, there's something for everyone at Inspire Music. With their extensive range of musical instruments, ensemble classes, and experienced staff, they aim to inspire and encourage their students to unleash their musical potential.
